My Story
I became interested in creative media during my junior year of high school. I created my first sports highlight video a year later for my friend and starting point guard at Owatonna High School. I attended Gustavus Adolphus my first year of college and purchased my Sony A7III in the spring. That summer I began photographing girls AAU basketball independently. I transferred to the University of Minnesota Duluth for my second year of college. Throughout the year, limited in my ability to work for UMD, I freelance photographed high school athletes and spent the rest of my time creating videos from online footage. The summer following my sophomore year, I worked as a videographer for Minnesota Fury and Jr. All-Star. I attended several in-state tournaments and capped off the season traveling to Louisville and Cincinnati for EYBL and UAA sessions. I got my spot on UMD productions preceding my junior year. I've worked as a videographer, editor, and event photographer for hockey, basketball, and football teams. In addition, I worked for the Western Collegiate Conference Association for the WCHA Kwik Trip Final Faceoff.
